Toolkit Sessions

The toolkit comprises five standalone sessions and an overview guide. Start with the overview guide, which includes how to prepare for your first session as well as how to track and measure impact across your project.

Click on one of the sessions to find out more, you will be taken to a separate page which includes the resources you need for that session.

Toolkit Approach

Family Voices uses a repeatable format for each session - sessions are facilitated in a creative way to foster good listening and dialogue. Outputs from each session are clear and designed to input into your project. Impact is fundamental to the process and is tracked through participant feedback alongside your own project processes and goals.

Take a look at the case studies page to find out how each pilot project used the framework and the impact it had.

The Creative Task provides the framework for structured Listening and Discussion,
which is where
you can start to
find out about
parents and carers' needs

Each session provides Project Input, as takeaways. Project input could be briefing, responses to proposals, policy recommendations or programming of services.

Each session is underpinned by a Creative Task, for example, mapping, collage or surveying

The toolkit builds in Impact. Click on the Overview  section to find out how to track and measure impact from day one.
